  • Overview

    Supervises, directs, and coordinates field hourly employees, nontechnical exempt employees, and/or contractors. Performs and oversees construction and repairs/replacement on new and existing facilities, and equipment in accordance to engineered plans, regulations, and company standards supervises contractors on processes, procedures, and daily activities. Confers with engineering personnel regarding status of projects and field related problems and is responsible for adherence to and execution of proper safety practices of the assigned projects. Responsible for a safety practice for the work group they supervise.  This position will be based out of our Mustang, Oklahoma field office.


    • Directly supervises a crew of contractors, including Roustabouts, in the construction activities of assigned projects
    • Sets and enforces expectations and creates work schedules for contractors
    • Oversee activities of contract crews
    • Effectively communicates and interacts with employees, contractors, guests, regulatory agencies and the public
    • Monitors district activity to ensure company personnel and vendors are providing quality service and adhering to safety and environmental policies
    • Monitors, controls, and lowers costs of assigned projects
    • Coordinates the selection of vendors and materials for specific projects in conjunction with engineering
    • Complies and ensures compliance of direct reports and contractors with all corporate policies, laws, regulations and management decisions
    • Develops direct reports through coaching, counseling, disciplining and the performance evaluation process for employees to reach the next level in their career progression.
    • Aids, supports, monitors, and assists the members of the Operations Department, as needed
    • Champions company values, and sets tone of operating excellence
    • Responsible for budgetary line control of the supervised operations
    • Performs other duties as assigned


    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities for an oil & gas operator. Oil and gas industry experience preferred
    • E.D. or High School diploma
    • Knowledge facilities management in oilfield operations
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet pressing deadlines to successfully complete monthly reporting deadlines
    • Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (primarily excel). Analytical and problem-solving skills for spend analysis, addressing issues & preparing reports.
    • Ability to visit and monitor vendor activities in field locations
    • Planning, prioritization of work, initiative and organizational skills and ability to work unsupervised
    • High personal credibility and ethical standards to ensure reporting follows internal controls/regulations and professional standards
    • Interpersonal and teamwork skills to work in a team environment and across departments.
    • Communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel to gather necessary information
